What do you need to obtain this certificate?

Requisites

  • Valid Commercial Pilot Certificate 

  • FAA 3rd Class Medical Certificate

  • Pass The FAA Fundamentals of Instruction Written Exam

  • Pass The FAA Flight Instructor (Airplane) Written Exam 

  • Pass Your Check-ride With an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner

Flight Instructor Instrument:

  • Valid Flight Instructor Certificate

  • FAA 3rd Class Medical Certificate

  • Pass The FAA Flight Instructor (Instrument) Written Exam 

  • Pass Your Check-ride With an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner
